Dan Polsky is a medical student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine who has been mentoring pre-medical students through every stage of the application process since beginning his medical training. Having recently navigated the admissions process himself, he brings a practical, honest, and individualized approach to helping applicants succeed. Dan is passionate about making high-quality medical school advising more accessible, transparent, and student-centered. His core belief is that the best mentors are students who have successfully navigated the process themselves and can share their experiences to meaningfully guide future medical students. Dan is currently pursuing a career in surgery and, outside of medicine, enjoys skiing, playing basketball, and staying active in the gym.
